Mr. Paul Kavanagh Irish Ambassador to France officially opened the new Tricel factory in Poitiers in the presence of many French dignitaries, Tricel distribution partners and representatives from businesses that assisted in the set up of the new factory.
The attendees were also addressed by Mr. Michael Stack Managing Director - Killarney Plastics and Mr. François LeLan Managing Director - Tricel France. Michael Stack spoke of the challenge in entering the French market and how Tricel's product quality, superior treatment technology and hard work reaped the rewards.
Products are manufactured at the Killarney factory and then shipped flat packed to the 8000m2 site in Poitiers, where they are assembled and distributed throughout the country.
