Tricel opens new factory in France
Mr. Paul Kavanagh Irish Ambassador to France officially opened the new Tricel factory in Poitiers in the presence of many French dignitaries, Tricel distribution partners and representatives from businesses that assisted in the set up of the new factory.

French 'emerging market' beckons
When Mike Stack wants to explain how Ireland and France do business differently, he sketches a sales scenario. "If we were to sell a sewage treatment system to a builder in Ireland, he would buy it off us, he’d stick it into the ground and he’d plug it in," he explains. "That would be it. "If it was a French builder, he would take the manual and he would read it from front to back first. If there was something in the manual that didn’t read right, he would phone you and let you know about it."

Water Fees unlikely to flow smoothly

HOW MUCH will we pay for our water in the years ahead? No one knows and, despite the fact that charges have been planned for more than two years, nobody in the Department of the Environment appears willing or able to even hazard a guess. And no one knows how and when meters to measure usage will be installed, and who will pay for them.

Tricel Exhibit at IOWA Conference & Exhibition
The Irish Onsite Waste Water Treatment Assocation conference and exhibition was held in Portlaoise on Wednesday 26th of October.
The theme of the conference and exhibition “New Regulations for onsite waste water treatment - Who is responsible” generated great interest and a large number of council members, installers and egineers attended

20 Years of Service to Killarney Plastics Ltd
An East Kerry man with more that two decades of service to a Killarney firm was acknowledged for his dedication to the company at the weekend. Patrick Moynihan from Headford, who this year completed 20 years of service in Killarney Plastics was honoured by the company at the weekend when Michael Stack Managing Director and Tom Murphy Production Manager presented Patrick with a gold watch and voucher in appreciation of his years of service.

Killarney Plastics Receives French Agrément Approval
Tricel - Killarney were recently awarded the Agrément Certification this week. Receipt of this certificate is a proven record that the treatment capability and design of the Tricel Waste Water Treatment system meets the requirement of the French Ministry.
